I've worked at the kindy for three days now, with at least another couple to go. My name's down for some shifts at KFC, and I'm looking for another job. We'll see how that goes I guess. It's just good that I'm finally working!

Nicole brought Amber to kindy for a visit today. She wasn't too interested in the other kids, but she loved the sandpit and toys. And she didn't seem to care when she wasn't with Nicole, so I think she'll be fine coming to kindy. We just have to work on the sitting at the table to eat thing.

Right now I'm obsessed with all the $30 dresses at Jay Jays, and today I went in to find they've all been reduced to $15! But I guess there's a limit to how many polka dot dresses I need. I bought a polka dot top though.

I just showed the monkey my new top. I came very close to putting a dress I can't afford on layby, and I'm glad I didn't, because I came home and Eileen had bought it to wear to prizegiving.

Drinking age is staying at 18. Wheeeee. Oh no, over the weekend I forgot what the sandpit does to nail polish. They should make sand less abrasive. Mum caught on to my trick of getting out of getting out of nappy changes today. When a kid comes to me, I just say, "go tell Pat," and they toddle off. I've also been told off for calling a kid a brat (he was one) and telling kids the reason they weren't allowed in the storeroom with chemicals and things in is because it's where all the fun stuff is kept. I'm an awesome teacher.
