An excellent weekend...
So, I've found a group that drink more than bagpipers. Oh dear.
A weekend long conference meant three nights drinking in a row, very reminiscent of the Pipeband Nationals.
Met some very, very cool people over the weekend. Lots of fun, grog, sleep-deprivation and coffee was had by all. And you know, some political stuff went on too.
Some quotes from the weekend...
"Feel my undies... they're really hot..."
"Geoff likes *that* dress best."
"My penis is hard enough to control as it is." (I remember this being extremely odd, that it wasn't meant sexually at all, but I can't remember the context)
"D.Vice? That's not sleazy. That's tame. That's where Don Brash and Bill English buy their toys."
On the taxi driver saying that his punishment for cancelling another job to pick us up was to not get offerered another job for 5 minutes: "I'm so sorry. We'll pay you an extra dollar." Then to me, "It's alright, we'll change the legislation for him..."
I'm off to catch up on some much needed sleep now. I just got sheets out of the dryer, I wish I'd waited and used those instead of putting new sheets on when I took the old ones off. So warm.

haha - that's right - I was trying to tell him (despite your protests) that we would change the legislation just for him despite the fact that it is company policy.
and despite the fact that cabinet would never buy it ;)
